There's much more room for my legs now and the wheel isn't jammed into my crotch anymore. Just gotta work on the new pedal mounts now.

I was thinking of instead of having your legs go through the steering support hoop. Why not give the support a coke bottle shape and have it curve in and have your leg go on the outside of it? Just hack off the sides of the hoop just before the steering column. Flip them around so the curve is on the bottom and the straight parts attach to the sides of the steering column thingy? Like this
