you going to have to trim.... alot..... if you run enough lift to clear 40's, youll be on your roof leaving the mall. i was running 38" boggers on 4.5" lift.
also, d44's arent going to hold up long at all. most of the guys i run w/ were destroying built 44's on 35's and blowing up ctms on 37's.

My Jeep is also my DD so I'd rather not hack it to ----, but when the time comes I'd like to run the biggest tire possible with the smallest lift possible. I have more than a couple sawzalls and quite a few hammers. 
As of right now it still rides nice and everything works great so I "try" not to beat it up too much. 
Everybody says D30's are weak as ----, but I've seen more than a few people run them with few problems.
