first s2k manifold: true equal length
this is my first attempt at an s2k manifold. my objective was to create a manifold that is equal length, retains a/c and moves as little as possible to accomodate things under the hood. all runners are between 18.9" and 19.2" long. i feel that is pretty close to equal length. the oil pressure sensor is being relocated. the a/c lines as well as the vtec solenoid will probably have to be heat wrapped. the fuse box position will need to be adjusted or possibly relocated, but otherwise things should fit nicely. wastegate will go directly on the collector on the downpipe side. let me know what you think, or what needs improvement besides my photography skills.

Re: first s2k manifold: true equal length
That is badass Aaron. Can't wait to see it all done.

Re: first s2k manifold: true equal length
4000hp here we come
Re: first s2k manifold: true equal length
wow!! Awesome work. How much? A good buddy of mine is going to be starting his build soon.

Re: first s2k manifold: true equal length
sweet

Re: first s2k manifold: true equal length
that is SEX how much would you reatail that for?
Re: first s2k manifold: true equal length

as for selling these, that is the idea, but i'd like to finish the complete kit and market it along with the dp and charge piping. as for price, i'm not decided yet. i'm sure it will be competetive with what else is available that is similar in style. i don't want to get into mass production just yet. i've done that before with other manifolds and it really isn't that enjoyable doing 13 of the same manifold for one stretch of time. |
Re: first s2k manifold: true equal length
damn thats bad ass. ;D

Re: first s2k manifold: true equal length
very very nice mr weir.. your project is coming along very nicely. have the steering rack fully in yet?
Re: first s2k manifold: true equal length
beautiful work Aaron!! :o :o representing the mad Canadian fab skillz!!
Re: first s2k manifold: true equal length
is there a specific amount of 'tilt' the center section can have and still drain effectively?
Re: first s2k manifold: true equal length
yes, it doesnt have to be dead straight. you can give the center section some lean
badass Aaron. i see nothing that needs to change |

Thats an absolute work of art!!! I know this is a very noob question but, how do you know that each runner is the same length? Is it as simple as measuring the lengths with something flexible or is their more of a science to it than that?
Good work as always I saw that you were banned.
I take it all the misunderstanding for you have been taken care of? |
sick mad fab skillz
The only thing you didn't mention is the oil filter. Will that have to be relocated with this manifold? That manifold looks perfect.
Nice work. Cheers
wow that is pissed.
beautiful work as usual Aaron
Where are you going to run the downpipe?
I'd hang that above my fireplace.
Whaddya think the melting point is of the AC line insulation? On an S2000, which way does the engine rock on it's mounts under power? If it touches that stuff, it's gonna melt and smoke. |
its a beast! Sick work man...
extremely nice work!!! I know how tedious building mani's can be.
That is looking nice brother!! Keep up the good work!
That thing is ------- dope as ----
Beaut... form and function, holy crap.
nice work
That ---- looks good! Nice work man!;D
dawm nice...
4000hp lol yea def. not from a s2k
vvery nice
Wish I had that kind of ability.
thats some good ---- right there, wish i could get my ---- looking half as good
