The more I researched how to design the "perfect" intake manifold, the more I found that nobody agrees on a perfect formula for runner area, runner length, and plenum volume. If you ask 10 experts, they will have you build 10 different pieces, each one being "best".
Yours looks great. Don't be afraid to hack it apart and weld it back together if you feel like changing something.

Props for fabbing something that (looks like it) works! 
As for the whole intake manifold "theory"... Someone wiser than myself once said, "The more your read, the less you know" Sometimes looking into that kind of ---- can leave you even more confused than if you just grab some damn metal and make the ---- work.
