Well this is what I started with but I made the collector from straight pipe.
Thanks to Forced Fab for getting my flanges to me wicked fast!



Collector but I then after cut it flat on top. Made it harder to weld.



Rear half pretty much done. I did it this morning without the camera. Had to cut the 90's in the middle.

Use marker to line up pipes. Cant get around them welded in place on the collector.




One side front tube on.



Ready to finish the front tube.

I ran a heavy bead around the head flange after this pic. Warped some Its ok. It pulled in on the motor



WOOHOO it fits! Notice my new T3 60/48 60 trim !!!



Plenty of waste gate clearance.

I used a Miller Syncro Wave 300. I may go over the welds again and make them look pretty. I was mainly concerned about laying in a ton of filler rod and making it strong.

I dont know. I still have to figure out how I'm gonna run that huge 3" downpipe and get some flanges for it. Maybe in the next 2 weeks. I may wait and port the Y8 head and do it all at once. My head studs came today as well.

Good job on the fab/welding part, but Why didnt you try making a different style?
