Here's pics today after I finally installed the seat and harness in the Z. The Illumina shocks and springs are in it. It's lower but not that much lower but still so much better then before. I had to weld in some tubing I had left over from the rollbar for the harness to keep it under 45 degrees from where I was gonna mount it to the opening on the seat so I would paralyze myself! lol.
Damn I look fast! lol. Oh anyone feel like trading if they have a open face they feel like getting rid of? This one makes me feel all claustofaubic oh however you spell it. It's in like perfect shape and comes with a bag and all. It's a medium HJS or something. SNELL and everything.

No 86 yet I'm hoping to get it back before I leave in two days since I'll be gone on vacation till next week. If not then it'll be like Christmas when I get back with all the packages waiting for me. Rims..seat..car..some ---- from Frank... springs..more ----...

that thing is sexy. man i love that car.

you need some padding on the cage and some shoulder pads for the belt. it would suck to wreck and have those harnesses go straight into you.

I thought about some padding on the hoop but It's kinda useless since I can't get my headover that far strapped in and I'm about 6" from the top of the hoop to my head. Harness pads wouldn't be that bad but my insurance check that I got is completely spent and then some! lol. I'll pick some up in a couple of weeks. I got some mad jDm Spooooon ones that I have on my junkyard backpack but they won't fit onto 3" wide belts from my ricy'er days way back when. lol. :P

I thought about it but I don't have like the 200 or so for bolt-on spacers. I could maybe get some ext studs and just the normal spacers. I'm gonna need to do the same with 86 since it's gonna have the same flares also since the rear wheel wheel lip was completely gone on one side and the other had about a 1/4 of it gone. Mental picture.... I used 2 one pint buckets of bondo on it . The one side use about almost half of one bucket.

haha damn, all that bondo. but yeah dude i trust the bolt-ons more then just extended with slip on spacers. a fatter stance would looks sweet on both ur 86 and the z

Yeah I'm not a big fan either of just longer studd and that long of a spacer. Hell I don't even know if they make that wide of a plain ol' spacer. Cheapest I've seen for the bolt on spacers are like 90 for a pair. But thats the price yah gotta pay to have that fatass stance.
