I'm running open downpipe to a 12" 3 in and out resonator to a 45 degree bend dump. The resonator quieted it down enough so my heater core doesn't rattle anymore but it still sounds mean and you can hear the WG and turbo over the exhaust.

a stock civic with a muffler is going to sound like bumble bee no matter what, BUT! if you boost it the turbo is going to act like a silencer somewhat. i did a 3'' dp with a flex pipe and a tanabe muffler and it didnt sound RICEY.

Hey, I own a muscle car. I dont have to worry about the raspy, pissed off bee either. Just a nice, low rumble/growl, that ------- roars at higher RPM and WOT

I've actually heard SS dampens the noise a lot more. A friend of my brother's had a Focus with exhaust, sounded all raspy and shitty, then he changed to full stainless (only change really made) and it sounded a little better.
