i cut my front mount in half then welded it solid. Who needs rubbery mounts. No slop=king. Make it work with whitey bends and a custom front mount, fab it up y0

Ya i cut mine to where they BARELY fit, and then welded 1/4 "plate to brace it... have the stock mount with insert(glued in w/ polyurethane-window sealer)....works GREAT....No wheel hop.... when Ibroke the first mount, life sucked.....

Much better than my first try, broke it in half.

Anyway... hres a couple pics to give you an idea what i did for MYsetup... You can make it work... and you should, car feels SO MUCH MORE SOLID....

Whoa...can't believe you snapped a mount.

I'm doing an F22 turbo as well. I'm using a 2g DSM mani and the 14b. I think i may havev to remove it as well...i'll soon see. But in case i do, my plan was to use the original mount to create a custom one that bolts to the AC bolts. Got some serious gauge steel...so should be good.

But knowing that you snapped a mount really concerns me and i'll have to make sure this custom mount is extremely strong.

^ I dont think you have to remove the mount with the DSM stuff. Go check out the Turbo projects and look for the one by SkinnyE he had that setup and i think it just requires some trimming.
With the use of the half radiator I found my way around the mount. I'll have pics up later.

Yeah you do have to remove the mount with dsm manifold and turbo (13g, 14b, or 16g, t25) I just did it over the winter and I took mine off. Im thinking about buying some better mount inserts to compensate for it. But who knows I might have an H22 soon enough ready for boost.
