no dave it cant.

they do offer a a/c d/c version but its like 900 dollars, and for 2 hundred more you can get a nice used miler.

yea but you dont get the plasma. Shitty thing with welding is all the little extras you have to pay for along with the machine. Its really not to bad, but when your doing a lot of production you need a few tanks, quite a bit of tungsten, filler etc. We have a smiley here that we soley use for plasma cutting so i cant speak about its tig abilities. For the $, it hasnt failed us yet and im sure it would do just fine as a tig.
