You fucksticks do realize that a plasma torch can cut more than just metal? Try cutting a windshield with it sometime - saw a guy use one to redo the glass on a chop top S10, I was like OMG WTF>??

Mucho bukkake!

Oh yah. How do you guys use a chop saw for collectors? All I get is the f-o-r-e-v-e-r cut and a lot of deflection. I just bought a band saw I was so sick of it.

just like that. I went to home depot and bought 6 feet of 1.5in black ABS plastic (for $3.50) and practiced about 5 times before I could get the cuts down perfect so the middle of the collector has a nice point. My harbor frieght chop saw really cries like a little bitch when I make it cut that sch10..

Yeah I bought a cheapy chop saw to begin with. It sucked *****. No power and the table was stamped steel. Now I have a Milwakee and it blazes through with a good Norton blade on it. It has a cast table and is much more stable.

i made my first collector with a chop saw. it's about as semetrical as a rock it works though.

It's a harbor freight pos; no ***** takes forever to cut but it works. At my current work they have a 3hp makita that can cut through SOLID STEEL pipe faster than my pos can cut through some thin wall exhaust tubing. I'm afraid of that chop saw!
