Then what crap are you talking about when you say you "felt" a difference in "boost threshold" between the two manifolds?

If there was any difference it was because of something other than the manifold.

Please stop using the term lag incorrectly. It only encourages further uneducated use.

Well, considering the log manifold I had made previously dumped straight into the turbo, and the "elephant" style top-mount I made converged 4-2-1 through a manifold and then into about 2 1/2 feet of extra pipe, there was a difference. Only way I got it to lower the threshold time was to try a smaller turbo with a smaller exhaust a/r, but at the sacrifice of higher rpm power, i.e. compressor out of it's efficiency range. Alot also had to do with the timing map on my .bin file. A more agressive timing map would've helped out alot. No need to get offended...how many people (other than the die-hards) are really going to remember this kind of info later anyway? Sometimes it's like a losing battle.

Lets see some more pics of the manifold and downpipe!

Your'e a complete idiot. If youre gona turbo a car YOU MAKE SPACE for it all to work, its called creativity

what? if there isnt enough room there isnt enough room, there is no amount of creativity that can change that, short of cutting up the frame and body panels, and as i see it its not worth the extra time to just have the turbo in the engine bay. Apparently you have absolutely no idea wtf you are talking about, because even though the sts systems are not the best thing around they still work and you don't "have to make space" for it, so get off your high horse you dumbass. And just for reference i am not talking about turbo hondas here

sts is lame, we cut cars up here and make things fit. and yes, it's worth it.
