If it is back there what is spooling the turbine? He must some how have it connected to the exhaust system

that is some of the dumbest ---- i have ever read....

Why would you remote mount a turbo on a 4 cylinder car, especially one with such an aftermarket it is fairly cheap to turbo it normally? just to have something different? Then this guy has more money than brains

REAR mount is the ----

it causes all kinds of good things like lag and pressure drops.
and they are so much cheaper and easier to do, then a standard turbo on manifold setup.

hopefully you got the sarcasm :1

yup, you laid it on pretty thick there. Unless you have a low-boost application(5-10 psi) on an engine big enough to spool the turbo so quick that lag isn't really an issue on a such a small turbo, they are useless

actually the car made 405hp and there is not any turbo lag especially with a 57 trim ball bearing turbo, the manifold design can also make a difference too. its just something different.

thank you for more pics. thats not exactly remote mount like we were talking about(i.e. rear bumper mounted), still you have like 6-8 extra feet of piping for whatever reason. Like you said, manifold helps alot, but having a baller bearing turbo doesn't hurt at all
