I love my fluxcore welder. I am converting to the darkside with some gas soon, but I find if you kick up the head and increase the spool a bit, you don't get birdshit welds and get good penetration.

Thanks for all the tips.

I keep sandpaper, a wire brush and a die grinder with a cookie on it handy so I shoul dbe able to keep everything clean.

I should be getting it tomorrow. Hopefully the rain doesnt hold up.
