I get you, and I thought the same thing at first. I thought maybe the stock suspension couldn't handle all that weight for the past year and it was making it sag. But as soon as I put in the new suspension, it was still the same way. B4 i even sat in the car, it was still uneven. So yes, there is something wrong with the unibody, the chassis shop guy agreed. So i would like something to correct that. Most ppl would do it with coilovers, so it's not a ridiculous thing. I just wanna keep my new springs and not spend another $300 for a possibly worse ride. Am I asking too much from the fabricators of HMT? I knew that I wouldn't find someone capable on H-T, but I thought someone on HMT would have the skill to cut and drill out a couple small plates of metal...

Was the car ever in an accident?

I'm sure there are plenty of people on here that can make it, but the profit wouldn't make it worth it for them. If I were you I would just put washers between the strut and the body to lower it.

According to carfax no... but it does seem like it's been crashed on that side. I can't tell how bad though, this is y i suspected the unibody and the guy from Miami Chassis pretty much confirmed it. I bought the car thinking the frame was fine so I'm disappointed with this revelation as it is.

I didn't think it would be that much of a mission to do this, but I guess it is... I'm just gonna go to a local shop and ask. If I had something to cut the shape into a piece of aluminun or steel, I'd just do it myself.

Thanks for helpin out a fellow HMT'er.

Miamia Chassis is a great shop too, Thats where I take my car... the price for camber adjustment is a bit ridiculous though!

Ya, $240. The guy was giving me crap about my camber, especially on the driver's side since it's lower than the passenger's... I'm gonna have to get it done once i get my car level.

$240 for an alignment. Ripoff. $80 at Les Schwab for a 4-wheel any settings you want with a laser system.

Nope, doesn't level it out. I'd tell her to gain a few more lb's but it ain't worth it.

I'd still need to get a kit, so it'd be a lot more than $80.
$240 is including parts.
Regardless it's still alot and i'd prolly just install the kit myself and see if Tires Plus will realign it with my alignment warranty.

As for the spacer, I think i'm gonna get some 1/8" aluminum locally or off ebay and try to cut it up myself. I'll just stack them up in a few layers to level it all out.
Anybody see any problems with this? Will 4 or 5 layers of 1/8" aluminum be able to support the weight on the strut without compressing too much?
