Default building a log manifold on a cheap budget

this is a manifold I'm putting together,.
my ssac mani cracked...
figured I would post it anyways,
enjoy..

(I'm not done yet,,,but more progress is coming everyday.)

Good ----. I've thought about doing that, but I never tried. So far, I'm happy with my HF, but, doing something like this for a spare may be a good exercise in fabrication.

I have a stock cast manifold I might try something like this on. Wouldn't that be something, cast iron flux core migged to iron water pipe, I wonder how long it would hold up.

^I'm also using flux core...welding from cast iron on the turbo to gavanized steel...
its worked pretty well more me so far....

Damn...how many times are people gonna rip off my old cast iron gas pipe log manifold idea? lol FYI, make sure you heat it with a torch before, during, and after you weld it together otherwise it'll develop stress cracks.

For real, I would've beveled the edges and let it look like welded water pipe.

lol...i thought of that,
but yesterday I grinded down the threads on the inside...today I may be welding it up & posting some more pics.
I need to change my axle boot today thou.
