That's not necessary for these type of benders, Here, take a look at the bends I made with my bender:

These have no noticeable deformity. The video about packing the tube with sand is in reference to using a cheapy Harbor freight type bender.

'twas a test piece to try out the bender, I believe the wall thickness was something like .000012

The shop here has about 20 things already lined up. I will have to see how it all works out. The bender is still on back order but I have the software and its amazing. You can mock up an entire cage on the computer in 3d and spin it in any manner or pull it apart piece by piece. Chris you guys should get this bender and software and do some cage work. It seems to pay extremely well.
