why did you just post a link to a thread that links you back to this thread? anyway, your not always going to have boost at 2200 or whatever rpms, it depends on the amount of load and how much throttle you are giving it. I take it your car isnt boosted, watch your gauge as you drive when you are turbo and you will see what i mean.

There's a diff. between cruising on the freeway and laying into 5th WOT for 10 seconds to blast past some cars and a full on panty ripper through 3rd, 4th and 5th to 8000.
Assuming a solid tune, I think it really comes down to a heat issue for most of the cars we drive. 80% of us are probably rocking civic shorty radiators

hmmm in 5th gear at 75mph my car is at 4000 rpm. yeah..... so my top speed is like 130 mph. I do all kinda 5th gear pulls. it hasnt blown up yet. 12 to 1 afr's 10 psi on a dohc d16a1. anyways, it pulls in 5th just like 4th. But yeah, i dont give a flying ---- if that god damn oil puking motor slings a rod. damn POS 
i can buy another one for $50
