I was close to purchasing a set.. but have not talked with anyone using them yet.. Like asked, do you feel the price tag was justified?

 

that does seem a bit pricey for plastic............. unless your planning to mass produce

I really like that slip collector.

 

Being that it took me about 5 minutes to completely design a equal lenght manifold from scratch I would say it is well worth the price

Note I am a guy that does this stuff for a living, I didn not just buy the set for doing to 1 manifold I do this work as an everyday thing so when I can do work like this very quickly on a custom setup and not have to waist several hundred in material to weld plus the time it takes to cut/fit/tack/test/then find out it wont work.....

they are not for mass production, in mass production you know how the manifold is supposed to look and which bend go in it.

this is more for custom work. so you dont have to cut, tack and check if its good a million times.

 

this might seem dumb but how does the process work? u fit the plastic pieces like that... then you cut/weld the steel tubes to exactly the same angles and such? i mean, its still hard getting the steel tubes to have the exact bends and such isnt it? looks crazy btw.

 

They are a great tool for someone woh builds manis for a living and probably worth every penny in the stime they save you.I wish they were cheaper so the regular joe could afford them too.

see guys you got it all wrong.....its super plastic....all you do is form it out, and hook it up to the car.....the heat changes the plastic in to Stainless Steal....
