The problem with having your own manifold company is that it's a lot of work.. haha!!
No, really....if I started one up, I would have to do all the welding myself, which is a huge task in itself, not considering advertising, sales, ordering parts, shipping, research and development, etc... OR I'd have to find a good welder and hire him...which isn't very easy either. By the time you find a guy good enough to do the work, he's going to want a big chunk of the money, since he's the one actually doing the labor.
it's just a headache that I don't want any part of. If manifolds didn't have so many bends in such a tight place, I'd be all over it, but it really takes a lot of time to make a nice manifold... thus the reason you are so unlikely to actually see one done right. I really don't think you will find a company that makes manifolds that would pass xray testing, because they don't purge properly, or don't weld well enough to get it right.
