Default Bandsaw speed

Ok i have a grizzly bandsaw (G9742), my problem is that i only make like 3 cuts and the blade goes dull.
i dont know what i'm doing wrong, i've tried the fastest speed and the medium and same results.
i've read that people use theirs for like a month, why the ---- do i only get 3 cuts.
Btw i'm cutting stainles steel pipe schedule 10.
GIve me some advice plz. like what speed do u guys use or anything that would help me.

Calculate your RPM mabey? Google search it.

Shitty blades?

Are you forcing it or letting the blade do the work.. cause that can kill a blade quick.

rule of thumb with cutting stainless is slow and lots of coolant.

Correct rpm, slow cut, coolant/lubricant, and bi-metal blades. Not the chinese mild steel bullshit. Unless you can afford big rolls & weld them as needed...

Bi-metal cuts just fine. I use a sawzall with bi-metal blades to cut 3/4" cold rolled steel dowel for spindles, as well as 1/4" plate for misc parts. You just have to go slow and let the blade do the cutting. If you try to push you will rip the teeth right off. And don't even think about using bi-metal blades to cut welds, it doesn't work. You need a rotary wheel for that ----.

buy the more expensive blades and use coolant or even WD40. speed for stainless is pretty slow - it takes a couple min to cut an EL.

Slow. Slow. Slow. And keep that ---- cool. Stainless work hardens when you try to cut it too fast adn then you'll never get it to cut...

Make sure to keep that ---- cool!
