Bandsaw speed
Ok i have a grizzly bandsaw (G9742), my problem is that i only make like 3 cuts and the blade goes dull.
i dont know what i'm doing wrong, i've tried the fastest speed and the medium and same results.
i've read that people use theirs for like a month, why the ---- do i only get 3 cuts.
Btw i'm cutting stainles steel pipe schedule 10.
GIve me some advice plz. like what speed do u guys use or anything that would help me.

Re: Bandsaw speed
Bi-metal cuts just fine. I use a sawzall with bi-metal blades to cut 3/4" cold rolled steel dowel for spindles, as well as 1/4" plate for misc parts. You just have to go slow and let the blade do the cutting. If you try to push you will rip the teeth right off. And don't even think about using bi-metal blades to cut welds, it doesn't work. You need a rotary wheel for that ----.
