i've done a manifold kinda like that on a saturn sl2 5spd it spooled very quickly but i was using a turbo from a volvo.if you want to mount the turbo on the frame of the car it would be good if you had a bracket that let the turbo move freely while the engine moved also a flex pipe would be good so there is less stress on the manifold. as for the intercooler try a top mount and add a fan to it. it would be a really nice setup and easy to install and remove.

as for the down pipe...you'll have to get very creative with that.

i went with a cdm cast mani.. so i get to keep ps bump the ac and i was planing to NOT mount the turbo to the frame just let it hang on the manifold

 

if it hangs on the manifold it will cause alot of stress.
