Re: Aluminum intercooler piping
bitburger is one of the worst German beer, even though I am sipping on a bottle as I type, it was cheap and old at the post exchange.
if you want good German beer try the local stuff, like werner pils, rot bier pils, wurzburger hof brau those are all local to me and I love them.
yah German bier ist gut also

Re: Aluminum intercooler piping
i would weld it for $100 no prob, but i wouldnt pay for shipping back or the flange. if everything was already marked how it should be welded, wouldnt even take that long considering you dont weld everything on ic piping and some are obviously held together by couplers, and that aluminum is fast to weld, not nearly as long as it takes to weld steel.

Re: Aluminum intercooler piping
I am gonna just do stainless steel since I can weld that, even though aluminum is what I really want, but its too hard to pay that much for some piping, jstonestang on ebay sell a complete 2.5" aluminum fmic piping kit with bead rolled ends for $260 I bought my intercooler from him for $350 and I wish he would have had those listed at the time because the complete kit including ic and piping is $450. so I might hit him up and sell what I got.
