Default you stole my idea.

a dude is rebuilding a air cooled vw flat 4 at my school and i thought a turboed one would be cool. this is last week. and now i get to see it happen for real. I love you homemade turbo. other ---- im googleing is how to efi a flat 4, buick supercharged 3800 swaps, turboed jeeps, and new ideas to be the first dude who did a cool vehicle mod.

how much heat can a aircooled vw engine handle? how do you upgrade an air cooled, cooling system, lol?

i go to anoka tech. the dude rebuilding the engine aint upgrading it. just replacing parts. but i thought of turboing one when i looked at his engine on the stand. so i started searching the web. i found a few kits on line but i just wanted to read someones build thread cuz i wanted to know how its done to a flat 4 and also efi conversion but the closest iv found so far is this thread.

A demanding little ----! Alright. I had to chang the mounting position for the turbo.. Supergay! It's kinda hard to know where to put it without the car here. I'm moving all my ---- way up north so it might be sometime next week.
