I have a '92 4dr and I was wondering if I could adapt/fabricate/adjust a 2dr mugen type lip to fit my 4dr? Thanks for your help!

 

the radius/length are different, don`t worth it.

 

I'd rather change the whole front bumper to a coupe.

The bumpers are different and so are the lips.

So changing bumpers is not worth it IMO, and modding the lip is also not worth it. Just sell it off and buy a new one.

I know that there is some VW lip that will fit on the 4th gen civics. It is just a little long on each side.

 

Won't work and modding it won't look very pretty. The only lip that looks on the 5g 4dr's is the ferio lip. Looks like the EX/Si lip but for the 4dr. The EX/SI lip won't fit that on the 4dr's bumper. I think the Mooooogen lip is kinda ugly though. I had a mugen lip on my hatch and that didn't even look right. Ehh it's your ride. My 4dr with ferio lip. Sorry for the grainy pic but all I could find. I'm assuming that your getting the ebay mugen lip since the one everyone has on there is taken after 6g mugen lip and not the 5g civic mugen lip. The Wings West 5g lip is a copy of the actual mugen lip just for reminder. I'm a closet JDM freak. :P

 

they make lip kits specifically for the 4dr...just sell your lip and buy the right one. heres my 4dr with mugen style lip.

 

That lip is a copy of the Mugen EK lip. Not the Mugen EG Ferio lip. Not to mention the only person who makes the right copy of the Mugen lip for the hatch/coupe is Wings west. I don't even know what lip that is a copy of. It's like a mugen and si-r combined.

 

like i said before, I'd just swap out the whole bumper for a 2dr. the 4dr is teh ghey...looks liek a whale mouth or something

 

There's more room and less hacking for fmic then the 2/3dr bumper. Plus the 2dr bumper looks like *** on a 4dr unless you do some body work cause the line and overall size just don't match up.
