ok now that thats up, heres my welds. just 2 i did while i was bored with no work.
mild steel, but i welded it with stainless wire, i think thats why it popped and ---- all over the place.
input on what i need to do better?

Hey, not bad! (the ****, your welds suck.). JK, yeah, get the correct wire and you should have much better results. It looks like your beads aren't bad though.

Are you using a pre-sheilded wire with sheilding gas at the same time ??

What type of welder are you using ?!
