Default 1/2in heim, 12mm bolt, home made traction bar... how to get rid of play?

How can i get rid of the play between the 1/2in heim and the M12 bolt on the LCA?? (90 EF)

clunk clunk every time i speed up or slow down...

i suppose i could drill out the LCA and use 1/2in hardware... i could also build some weld up on the M12 and grind it down (so HMT)

how do other traction bars deal with this?

any good HMT ideas?

I went to the ma and pop hardware store, and bought 6" of .005 shim stock and cut it into strips about .45" X 6" and taped it to the bolt and wraped it around untill it was as close to .50" as i could get. I slid it in and bolted it on and called it a day. HMT *****!!!!!! lol

i couldnt find any except imperial, 1/2in, 5/8th, 3/4, etc...

would suck to remake the radius rods, but not out of the question.

weir, its way cheaper to use 1/2" than m12. and you can get the 1/2" swedged tubes for cheaper than the tube stock to build the tubes.

Drill it through and use a 1/2 bolt.

drill and tap to 1/2" or step up to 5/*" heim and have bushings machined.
