The second one worked fine for the first 10 minutes or so. I drove it logged some data and then stopped to reburn my chip. I started the car again and it never worked from then on.

you had it wired to switched power right? it wasnt sitting powered on with no signal to it?

I sure hope mine is not defective, because I bought it 6 months ago while I was in Iraq and I just installed it, and it does not work, so I will be out of luck because its been so long. just want to check with my friend to see if it works in his car, since he has one that works.

Personally I think this post is bullshit. First i've heard of problems with these units. It seriously sounds like you wired it wrong. Everyone i've known who wired it to the switched power on their ecu has had it work fine; ever consider that it was a bad idea to wire it to the 12v+ on the cigarrette lighter?? ::)
