Zdyne is now working :)
 

I have finally got Zdyne working where it lets me know its online(using laptop). But when i tried to load the factory pm6.zdy settings it says you have tried loading a file that differs from the SECU's current settings. Then it tells me to inspect forced induction, inspect nos enable, inspect vtec enable, and inspect clutch cut enable, inspect 2 bar map sensor calibrate and 3 bar map sensor calibrate. when using my desktop i have to have the cars ignition off and it tells me the SECU is online. Now I turn the car on and it lets me load pm6.zdy. But when I press upload spark it tells me" SECU might have not done what you asked" then i click ok. Then it tells me "EAccessviolation" and then shuts Binhacker down. Whats this from?

Ooo, I really don't know of anybody who can help you. None of use have the money to spend on Zydyne.

I thought it was because I wasnt using a 6 wire phone line, but i quess thats not my problem. With my desktop I have the car off go to the program it says the ecu is online, with the key on go to the program and says the ecu is offline. When using my laptop with key on go to program says ecu is online. I never tried using the laptop with the 6 wire phone line though, iama have to try that soon. Iono whats wrong with it. I emailed Zdyne, and I called Zdyne (left my number for them to call me) and no answer. So iono what to do. Really getting on my nerves. What could I possible do to fix this or what company or something I can call and tell them my problems.

Again TE. It can do Vtec, NOS, Come on TURBO BABY, and A/C, What that? Oh the weight adding, power robing pump thing bolted to you motor. Sell the Zydne for a butt load, and got TE!

a/c I must have dont want the girls to get angrey being in a hot car. Iam gonna try some more things to see if I get it working right then iono wat else to do.

i have had the same problem. I put the files in a desktop folder and for some reason it let me upload the maps. i dont know much about computers but that worked for me.

So have binhacker in a folder, and then put on the desktop a folder with just the zdyne files?

hey man your having the same problems i had with my zdyne, EACCESS VIOLATION ERROR! i even sent out my zdyne unit for then to fix they said it was fixed, i spent three hours on the phone with bill from zdyne trying everything. Honestly i never got the fucker to work. i tried winxp, win2k, only OS i havent tried is win98. but my zdyne unit has made a GREAT paper weight. i love it... it just sits there.

same problem here, i would have my car key turned to the first position and it would say its online, then give me the exact same error once i tried to load a bin. then turn to the second ignition point and it wouldnt work. Zdyne got me soo frustrated. and there tech support kinda blows. takes forever for them to call you back. good luck with that, my zdyne gold has just been sitting around for about 8 months never did i get it to work now im using turbo-edit... have fun and good luck buddy

You told me a disapointing post :( What did Bill tell you about what was wrong or so? I called nothing I emailed nothing, then you to are going threw the same thing as me with the frustration and thought something was wrong with the zdyne and yet all this ---- makes it not work grrr Why do they punish us with there Gold SECU thinking its all glory and yet we have problems with it even to work. ahhh man but what you said hurts after spending the money no worky, and ends up a paperweight :(

i have zdyne and bill helped me fix all my problems. i never had that one but call them and see what they have to say, its a real company with tech support, not like other ways to chip hahah.

What kind of problems did u have? I have been calling them (there voicemail box is full) B16Rex has the same problem as me has talked to Bill for an hour. Sent it to zdyne and still has his problem. I will keep trying to call Bill to see if he can tell me whats wrong, whats there hours?

i put the ecu up for bid on ebay yesterday because i was tired of ------- with it. what OS are you using when trying to get the secu online. because i was told even tho there is software for win2k and xp that there are compatibility issues. I had gotten it online before with windows 98. Did you just recieve the ecu new... how did you obtain it. kinda sux because i had purchased the ecu with the car i bought from CRX4life2003, one of hotrex's close buddies paid 6000 dollars for the turbo car, and never got the ecu operational so i guess i kinda got jipped $1000...

I bout it used off ebay you wouldnt have to be lopezboard? Windows XP OS think it matters what OS I use? I got it online and stuff but cant get it to upload up anything :(

Talked to Bill today and got some help on that wiring for the adaptor but thats still not the problem, I gotta call again later today

In an unrelated topic... I talked to some older guy at Zdyne today, he didn't seem to know much about anything.

I asked him why one of my customer's cars ran mad ass rich after 7400 (NA), when the pulse widths should remain the same. He had no idea. I asked him about his code, and he said it was the stock look up routine. Heh.. very interesting... He had no idea. Worthless conversation... :P

i run a zdyne ecu as well not the gold super ecu its the one wire conversion for d16z6/y8 and i had some problems at the time of install called zdyne every day for a week strait left messages never got one call back any ways got it working but i say ---- ZDYNE i will never do buisness with them again

For all those who have problems with zdyne as I described simply find someone with a windows98 Operating system and use that make sure your db9 to rj11 is wired up right if not the ecu will throw out like 23 flashes, once u fix the wiring if anything was wrong. You then continue to load your .zdy file and and it will give you no errors of anything. Good luck for all those that had this problem it was a pain but I brought down my old windows 98 desktop with a long extension cord and proceeded. Have fun now that this is how to get it working. For zdyne and the newer computers XP and 2k still has bugs in them not allowing it to work.
