Default wtf help

i bought a p28 ecu that was an auto and took out the stuff to make it manuel acording to the pgmfi.org site. i tested it before before i ch ipped it and it worked fine. i chipped it for uberdata and plug it back in and get a solid cel, and not sure if it matters but the green arrow shift light stays on to. started up and idles around 2k rpms and missing. i let it run for a couple of minutes to see if when it warms up it would kick back down but it just stays at 2k. i cut the jumper at j1 and it starts up and runs fine with no cel or shift arrow. i rejumpered the j1 and whent over all the solder joints, put it back in and same thing high idle and solid cel. took it back out and looked over the board and it looks fine cant see any scratches or wild strands of wire anywhere all the joints look fine. i even tried to starting the car no chip and it started up and still had solid cel and high idle. any ideas?

i checked again all my connections and they all seem good checked with a ohm meter and looks good. i rechecked my bin file unchecked the knock sensor(read somewhere it might throw a solid cel on a p28. when i went through my burn process, i double checked with projekteg write up on burnning with a willem and noticed that the chip im burning is under eprom electrical erase its an sst27sf512 and also noticed that the electronic ID selection is grayed out. could this be the problem?

if you are using an SST chip, make sure you burn it on the second half of the chip. set the offset to 08000

today i hooked up a a/f gauge and it worked fine with the stock ecu wich was a p07 and swapped the p28 in and the gauge stayed all the way lean no matter what.i did hook up the fmu and check valves to run it till i get uberdata working. i thought the ecu where interchangable. the stock one is set up for a wideband o2 and the p28 is set up for a 4 wire is this messing with the chip maybe??
