I got both the willems and burn1, I got my willems of ebay for like $45 shipped, I got my burn1 off ebay for like $55 shipped. GET THE BURN! YOU WILL GAUGE YOU'RE EYEBALLS OUT WITH THE WILLEMS!!!!!!! It worked great for those old 29C256 chips, but I couldnt get it to work with the new sst chips if my life depended on it.

I donno.

I have a willam burner and its hard to program chips at first. My buddy has the burn1 and it works great. Even figured out a way to burn directly from crome, which I guess its normal for the regular guys. Anyhow the bottom line is its easier to use the burn1. I dont mind the little extra headache to get it going but if I spent more at the time I would have been screwing around less, pulling jumpers and ---- just to burn or erase a chip.

I'd wait for Ectune to fully release and buy that with an Ostrich or whatever new fangled thing Moates is developing. That's what I'm doing at least. I'm figuring the combo of Ostrich and single car license should be around $300.

If not get the Burn1. All I ever see is people complaining about the Willem and I've never had a single issue with my Burn1.
