wideband question

Default wideband question

im wanting to buy an wideband controller.. but my lappy doesnt have serial ports, only lpt1 for a printer, but it has 4 usb ports. what controller has a usb connection? thanks in advance

Not to sound like an -------, but isn't that something you can search for?

I.E., look to see what widebands, first off, have datalogging, then second, if that company supports USB.

If not, then maybe invest in a serial to USB converter.

i understand, but i was in a hurry to leave and was in the process of looking for one with usb support, but i had to leave and i had hmt in the bg so i thought i would post up for later tonight to see if anyone knew anything. but, i guess now that im home i can search for my self. thanks anyways

Ah...

..but, ya, I don't know if any outright support USB besides the new PLX, but you can always get a serial to USB converter.
