Wideband/HF?

Is it possible to put my wideband in the stock HF manifold's hole? Or does it absolutely have to be about a foot or so downstream of the turbo?

It is, but it might mis-read. Also there is alway the discusion that the o2 sensor messes up if it is on that side of the turbo. I personnally have not had that problem, but why chance a sensor that is 2-3 times more expensive when you can buy a o2 bung and weld it in and not worry.

Just what I needed to hear, thanks. I guess I'll be installin that bung! I just have a fluxcore welder so I don't think it will be good with precision welding like that so I'll probably just have an exhaust shop welder er on.

...just an expensive sensor to burn up, it will "work" there, but the severely decrease the life of your sensor, and also if you use the LSU4 it will become less accurate faster due to the extreme heat.

Everybody seems to have summed it up.

It will work, but it is worth it to put a bung in to save the sensor in the longrun. It should be pretty cheap even installed at an exhaust shop.
