Do not download that software. Forget it was ever mentioned.

Download the link in the my first post. You already have the software, you just need to install those drivers.

so i just go to

load file to buffer

then put on a bin i downloaded

then once it is up on the little screen i click

program chip. it will say sucessfull but when i put it in my ecu8 it dosent work

insert chip correctly, select the correct chip, erase chip, load file, program chip.

You also have to make sure that the offsets are correct.

This is how it's supposed to look when you select the 27SF512 chip

Dude, just take your time with this computer crap, it can be very frustrating. NOt only do you learn about car ecu's, you learn about your computer. It took me a good week every night after work trying to figure it all out and i wasted a whole weekend reading and reading. I was about to throw this crappy ebay dell lap top through my car window. I had to walk away many times. Also, make sure after you download or whatever you do, turn your computer off all the way and then turn it back on, cause my computer wouldn't recognize the f-ing ostrich one night, and the next day it worked fine. Getting the drivers to work sometimes can really be crazy. I think you are having kinda the problem i had. If i remember how i got it working i will let you know after i read through this thread again. Go take a break!!

wow thanks for that post. it does sound like me and you had/have the same problems. its good to here someone else did though becouse everyone else on here just like to pretend that all there programs run perfectly and they never have problems with anything, and if you are having problems its becouse your a retard
