this is an OBD0 so that means no place to put it right? what do i need to do i've checked pgmfi.org and didn't find much on how to do it exactly with pics, anyone can give me a little write up on how to chip a OBD0 PM6 for turbo edit?

I don't think you can chip an 88 ECU(at least not very easily). You need a 90-91 PM6.

Listen to Doc. He knows what he's talking about. The older PM6's up to 90-91 didn't have an external rom. They can still be chipped but there are extra parts needed and it's a bit more complicated. So your best bet (like Boost said) is to find a 90-91 Pm6.

hehe no.. If you get a 90-91 PM6 which is in fact chippable, it's still OBD-0. You'll be fine without running any harness' or converting to OBD-1.

ohh yeah you're right haha so pretty much just buy a 90-91 ECU, and chip it then plug it in...damn should've done that instead of buying this stupid SAFC2 for $300...

Not just any 90-91 ECU. It needs to be a PM6-A09/L09 ECU or a PR4-A10/L10 ECU.
