when does the s-afc turn on??
 

should it turn on when you put the key to the accessory position or does it only turn on when the car is startd. i cant start my car because there is no motor in it...i turn the ignition to the second click and the ecu gets power and my air/fuel and turbotimer get power but no response from the s-afc...im confused. i know the safc works. i tested it out on the battery terminals. ugh :-\

you probably have it wired incorrectly, it should get power when acc is on, or maybe you fried it when you tested it.

Oh ---- man. :o I hope you didn't fry it. I don't think you are supposed to hook it directly to the battery. That thing was in perfect condition when I sold it to you. I hope you realize it worked when you received it.

Make sure ALL the wires are hooked up correct. Could you list exactly how you have it hooked up?

i wired it like quick told me too. would it matter that all the grounds in my engine bay are not hooked up dure to the fact i have no engine in the car??

i know this damn thing works, i already programmed it. but for some reason its not powering up off the ecu wires.

take a volt meter to your ecu wire that is supposed to be power. make sure you got power. good luck
