what do you guys use to burn chips?
i bought a burn1, my dad and i are trying to get my brothers car running right. we're using the program that came with it called flashburn. im just having problems using it, .bin file burns, and its there on the chip, but it wont "verify" (as my dad says) i havent seen this done yet. and if anyone can lend a helping hand or refer me to a different program, please do so.
im in vancouver right now so if there is anyone willing to meet up with me to help, i'd appreciate it. ill be checkin on this topic in a few hours. and if anyone wants they could gimme a call to help me out. (pm me for my numer)

I couldn't get my Burn1 to work so I gave it back, but then again I don't know how to reformat my computer so I'm worthless. I never had any issues with my Batronix. The Willem gave me a bit of trouble, but I actually got that working just fine.

Re: what do you guys use to burn chips?
i had an issue with my first burn1 after about the first week...wouldn't recognize when plugged in. craig agreed to take it back and credit me. i haven't had any issue with the second one and i've burned 100's of chips.
what chip are you using?
have you selected that chip from the list?
if it's a uv eraseable chip, is it erased/blank?
i erase my eeproms everytime before reburning just in case.
make sure the arrow on the chip is facing the lever/cable end of the burner.
the chip goes all the way away from the lever leaving 2 rows of burner exposed between the chip/lever.
hope that helps
