Default What did I fry (batronix 3.3 programmer)

My little programmer is not working anymore. I have known working 27cs that I have tried to read, and at dec0/hex0 I am getting 00 instead of FF. So, what happened was.... I put a 27c in upsidown. Yeah, I know, stupid, well I plugged it into the wall, tried to read a chip, it gave me a screwed reading, I looked at my burner, and said oh ----, than unplugged it. I also am getting a 00 now at dec160/hexA0. My voltmeter is at work, so I can't do a proper hardware test right now, anyone had this happen?

I did exactly the same thing...put the chip in backward, fried the burner. I isolated it to a blown transistor and replaced it with what I thought was an equivalent one...well, I thought wrong and smoked the board all together, had to get another one from batronix.

Word of advice to everyone using the Batronix EEPrommer...don't put chips in backwards, especially overnight like I did

Hurmm, I think I will be posting this question on the batronix website Perhaps I can take note, and figure out exactly what happened. I'd hate to have to re-order a new one. Mine was only in for about 15 seconds.
