the plug on 96 civics where all the injectors are jumpered, where (what honda) can i get a plug that plugs into that so i can do a clean resistor box install

 

the one that has a cap on it if thats the one i have several if your interested lmk...

 

im just trying to find out what there from before i go cut one at the junkyard for $5, why how much do you want

 

there are two things that i have plug... OBD1 distributor, and something else i cant remember maybe it was one of the pass strut tower plugs...

 

Carefully remove the pins from that connector that are for the 4 injectors...they are the same exact pins that plug into the green connector on the stock resistor box...

On a side note...cars that have the dead end connector. Removing that cap when you park your car or let it sit is a darn good theft deterent.

No power to injectors = no fuel

 

i was at the junkyard today lookin in all the hondas trying to find the right male 8 pin connector on anything, none of the hondas had distributors in them, finally spoted one in a legend and i got lucky, it was already connected to a resistor box its got 6 resistors in it ofcourse though but i dont see a problem leaving 2 un connected, im gona make sure the pins are in the right spots though

 

That IS a good idea. You probably could even gut a spare and put in on, no one would know.

 

Not in LA. A friend got his EG jacked with that out. I'm pretty sure most of those **** carry that jumper plug.

But how many are gonna carry a ECU, ground butt plug, and a main relay when stealing a car?

Then they can always flat bed it. Wheel are crank full lock to make loading onto a flat bed a PITA.

But if they still want it. they will take it!

 

You would be suprised.

Most people don't take the main relay.
