wats the difference
i have a friend that wants to purchase crome pro but he wasnt sure wat the difference was from beta to pro. could some one tell me so i could tell him and is it worth the 150. if so he will get it. he is using the latest freeware version and tuned my car with it and it idles fine and runs great so were not sure if its worth the 150. is it?

Datalogging is a necessity to tune a car correctly, on the street or on a dyno.
Autotune does all of the AFR calculations for you from your lambda log (which you get through datalogging) and tunes your car with the click of a button.

hmm thats cool. so wat does datalogging read? on the dyno i got a wideband and can look at any graph thru the computer.
basicaly wat information does the datalogger give you that the dyno doesnt. the auto tune sounds cool but is it reliable?

Datalogging through your ecu can read anything from just about any sensor on your engine. Your local dyno probably just datalogs the AFR through a separate application, which is fine. Yes, the autotune is reliable. More reliable than not using it.

The Dlogging is worth it. So is supporting John Cui for his fine Honda rom editor.
Street tuning w/o dlogging can be done w/ just a vacuum/boost gauge, it just takes alot longer. Having a map trace of your A/F, and being able to play back your WOT 3rd gear rippers means you can nail WOT fueling in just a couple of runs.

so ur dayin that it is real time tuning then. if so its worth it if not thenits not. all i need to tune my car is my a/f ratio on a wideband which i have and a dyno. if i cant tune it in real time (without taking the ecu out of the car and opening it up and pullin the chip) then im not getting it. but if you can change the parameters of the chip without taking it out then its well worth it and it will be purchased.
