so you can use te to tune an all motor application with no boost? or you just have a stock rom dump for the pr3/pw0's?

You can open and edit the ROMs.. They've been posted on the website since version 2.0 came out.

..I don't do what UD does.

If you can open the ROM to get the maps out, you can edit it. None of this "Open the ROM and read the maps but not edit the ROM".

i was always told that the only thing you could do with the pr3 and pw0 maps was basically burn the stock .bin, but i definitely believe your word over anyone elses. so basically, yes, you can tune a 'stock' b16 with te and pr3/pw0?

Yep. Any of the stock maps that are on the website are editable.

Rev limits, VTEC, so on so forth.. They just don't have fancy features like launch control, boost, blah blah blah..

not if you're car came equipped with vtec. you'll always have wiring if the car isn't equipped with vtec obviously, even if it's just from the solenoid to the shock tower, it's never plug and play unless the car came equipped with vtec.

no, as of right now, nitrous script doesn't have seperate maps, it's still being tested, but it does have the ability to send power to a solenoid via one wire, just cut and paste vtec maps after the desired rpm which you set it to engage if that's what you want to do, but i still don't see why you would want to use this as an option, if you convert the ecu to a p28, you can run uberdata, crome, hondata and/or any other rom editor with vtec support, instead of being limited to one program. the main reason this was a huge development for obd0 is more or less the lack/non existence or obd0 vtec usdm ecu's, and the fact that even the jdm vtec ecu's are have totally different code than what the 'chippable' usdm ecu's have and therfore pretty much require support from a different program other than turbo edit.

and if your car came wired with vtec (after93) you would already HAVE a p28 :-) so there again no reason to do what i'm asking, its simple coding, and i'm wondering if it can be done easlily and i'm asking if someone will do it :-)

There's just none of the special features like launch control...

VTEC pressure check is probably a good idea, but you will never find it on my car. VTP disable for life!
