VAFC / SAFC questions
 

I had some difficult times using a VAFC last week on a friends car, its like no matter what I was getting a CEL for Map but the voltage was never going over 3.0v.

450's on a z6 w/ VAFC @ 6-7psi

I tried leaning the ---- out of it, even at -50% I was still getting it.

Any ideas?

I had 0 problems when tuning 450's on a ZC w/ SAFC @ 10psi no CEL or anything. Is something different about the VAFC that I do not know about?

Maybe it was something I was overlooking since I was in a hurry.

I've seen a lot of threads latelymof people having weird issues with AFCs/VAFCs. Seems most of them end up being actual problems with the unit or bad wiring.

ONly diff between the two that I know about is the VTEC activation.
