Re:VAFC/ MISSING LINK

listen to the voice of reason. Please?

You can run 30psi on a stock MAP sensor. And you know what? 30psi looks no different to a stock MAP sensor than 20psi, and no different from 12psi. If you're lucky, you might have a difference from 10psi, and would probably see a difference by 9.5 psi.

So, boys and girls, WHY DO WE NOT RUN HIGH BOOST ON STOCK MAP SENSORS? Because STOCK MAP SENSORS WILL NOT SEE HIGH BOOST!!!

So, bs n gs, WHY CAN WE NOT USE MISSING LINK, VAFC HACK, COMPARATOR CIRCUITS, SMC, ETC. TO RUN MORE THAN THE STOCK MAP SENSOR CAN SEE SAFELY? Because the scaled signal will be the same at 12psi as 15psi as 20psi as 30psi. Do you really want that?

---- missing links. ---- check valves. If you want to run more boost, get a 2/2.25/2.5/3bar MAP sensor. You can use the AFC to pull down your voltage to the appropriate point. You can get 2.25bar GM maps for $10 from the picknpulls round here. Don't be a stingy tightwad please.
