You'd have to use my Excel basemapper thingy as TE doesnt understand how to interpret the fuxored column headings and it cant do its fancy little calculations without proper column headings.

so TE has Issues then... i guess im gonna have to learn how to use your basemap helper then.

TE doesnt have issues...the NG48 ROM was released after the last revision of TE. TE can open & edit the file, it just was never told how to interpret the different column headings (remap table) so it cant use its integrated functions.

I'm guessing it will shortly though hopefully and when that time comes I plan on writing a 'Basemap' plugin for TE to make it easier and not dependant on having Excel.

well then i guess ill wait for that to happen then, in the mean while, ill try using your excell thingy! do i still follow the instructions in your write up? but use the difficult way instead of the easy way?

OK so now here is my other dilema..

i did the basemapper thing but when i open NG48 its already set for 450cc injectors and im running 390's


can i just do the Xencron write up with all the steps and then just copy and paste the basemapper stuff after i adjust ignition, injector size ETC

dont worry about what button is checked...it runs the maps you put in TE

ummm ....ok so if i copy and paste ( the base mapper numbers ) them to NG48 regardles off wether its set to a 450 or 390 injector size i should still be ok? it wont affect the amount of fuel needed?

I know this can be frustrating to you seeing as how this is easy for you but theis is a bit more complicated for me :P

The "injector size" does not matter. According to TE, I run 240cc injectors.

it runs the maps you put in there Julio...the ECU doesnt look at what injector button is checked.

that button is only there for calculation (math) purposes
