UK INJECTORS
 

i know that a lot of people in the states use the 450cc DSM injectors for the VAFC hack on the B16A, but my problem is what injectors can i use from a UK car?

maybe a supra? FTO? EVO?

please HELP!

hi matt, whats your email? im from the UK and boosting a D series CRX. I got my injectors from a prelude 2.2 but they are 390cc

Will these 390cc injectors work OK with SAFC, and for how much boost?
I'm also interested in this as I'm from Europe too(Croatia), and planning to build turbo on my engine.
If I manage to get used injectors (such as proposed here) i'd go with SAFC, otherwise I guess FMU option is still there :-\

Anyone mebbe knows if some 450cc injectors from some European car would fit?

im gonna try some of the fords at the breakers yard this weekend, maybe some of the 2.0 fords, jags, anything. The injectors as far as i know are all made by bosch or simular company so they should easily be transferrable maybe just a slight filing of the seals. im from london UK by the way... how many other UK tuners do we have here?

Little offtopic (well, atleast in this thread): Could TDI (turbodiesel) turbine be used? As those are more than easy to find these ways...

i have a diesel turbo which i am using, they are a little easier to come by think the PSI is just set slightly higher. I have also found out since that the 390cc injectors from the 2.2 prelude are infact 345cc. European tuners need an answer to injectors i am feeling... :P
anyone got the bosch part number for the 450cc? or are they not made by bosch

Hey man I'm from the UK too. I'm using those Prelude injectors & a Zdyne ECU. Actually I've not got the injectors yet but the guy I'm buying them off says they're good for 8 psi anyway. He's only upgrading to run more psi. ;D

I've seen a few UK Turbo'ed CRX's. There are also a very few Honda-engined turbo Rovers & one supercharged one (mine). There is also an H22 Rover & at least one B16 Rover kicking around.

I'm sure there are prolly a few UK S/C Honda's, but lets face it you aren't gonna drive past one soon :). Maybe overall about say 30 Turbo / S/C at the most?

ive only seen a rover turbo, primera turbo and crx turbo on the UK streets although im sure there are more... where u from in the UK alex?

um..no. if you were able to get me plates from every europen country includeing russia then its a deal;) tehy ahve to look nice too. no crappy rusted, fucked plates.

I can only source UK plates, but as many of them as you want. people are selling make your own GB plates on ebay.co.uk

whey, i am from uk too....looking to turbo mk3 crx, though i already know of one turbo and one sc mk3 crx's....the turbo uses the vafc hack too... possibly looking at that, as to 450cc inj, fcuk knows, turbo guy brought his second hand from states

From what I have heard this is the only option for us UK turbo heads! ebay has a few sets for sale now and then if not DSMtrader.com

The guy upgraded to 450's coz they were cheap and they are more suited for the SAFC hack than 340's (ala Prelly 2.2 Vtec) and see how many more head gaskets i can blow with about 10psi ... lol

Hey Nadster!! Good to hear from you mate!
The injectors are working nicely for me at the mo mate, but I'm having an ickle problem. Seems the kit I bought wasn't exactly for a D16A6, and so I'm running the wrong crank and SC pulley.
So, I am boosting at a MIGHTY 1psi!!! ;D ;D ::)
Need to get that sorted ASAP!
Got the engine management in though, it works a treat. Enjoying farting about with comedy 2500 rpm rev limits lol. Just wish the car went a bit faster!!

Nikko, I'm in Scotland. I've not seen with my own eyes any turbo'ed Rex's or anything, but I've heard about them. Most I've seen is a 3.0L Corsa, Omega engine! Now that is scary!
