Uberdata Ostrich probs???
K so I finally got my ostrich in but god damn if I can figure it out. Ive read up on it for the past 6 months but now that I have it, im still lost? I keep getting an "incorrect ostrich version" message on ports 1-4? I am using UberOst2 w/ the correct 10_3A Ostrich firmware but nothing. I did verify my comp recognizes the unit through Crome on port 5? Cant figure that out either? Ive never really got into crome, Ive been using uber for over a year now fine. Maybe im a lil scared by all the bells and whistles crome features, that plus the license cost. :P So anyways, comp and EmUtility recognize ostrich but why not Uber? can anyone help? Please

Re: Uberdata Ostrich probs???
Well boosted just got my ostrich and like I told him.. That ---- is shitty with uberdata or crome. I would basically make a bin in eather of those and upload it with tunerpro RT. Then use freelog to datalog. Some of you figured it out but I wasnt that lucky and it looks like he wont be too lucky as well.

Re: Uberdata Ostrich probs???
Same here.
With Uberdata, unable to send .bin to Ostrich, but saved it in Uberdata and exported it with Tunerpro, and worked.
So..
Map adjustments : Uberdata
Import export : Tunerpro
I haven't figured out how to see maps in Tunerpro and I quite don't understand it (.xfd WTF? and anyways I think it is more a GM-Ford software). I don't know if it would work on Hondas.

Re: Uberdata Ostrich probs???
Tunerpro is easy. I created a bunch of files for it. The only problem is that you cannot display the fuel maps because of the column multipliers. Ignition maps are easy as they are only the byte value divided by 4.
I was working with the creater of tunerpro, I forgot his name, to get him to have more support for Honda ROMS. I gave him a bunch of info on the things he needed to add like byte options instead of only bit options and the ability to add in entie sections of code. He said he might do it in the near future, but I haven't heard back from him since.
BTW, Uberdata works fine with the ostrich. I might have to make a vid and show you guys how to work the DLing and ostrich together.
