Uberdata 1.7 StockGSR.bin weird
Hi,
I have Uberdata 1.7 and the StockGSR.bin fuel map is giving me 10 AFRs at idle and all over the place its about 11-12. I fixed a bit of it by tweaking, but i'm still wondering why this is happening (is it because of 8->16 bit fuel stuff or what). Also, when i try to take my idle lower in fuel content, i get to a point where the number in uberdata is ~45 and the idle just dies. why is this?

We're going to need to know a little more about your setup and the .bin your running. I know you mentioned it was the stock GSR but did you midify it to run a larger set of injectors? Also, is your closed loop disabled in the map? What's been done to your car just so we have an idea of what your working with.

unfortunately, a certain **** mod *cough* bignig* on the uber forums made it a new rule that uber members can't answer uber questions on other sites. post your uber questions on

Re:Uberdata 1.7 StockGSR.bin weird
1. people on that forum are honestly lame. few answer questions, my posts always get neglected.
2. no mods to the engine, totally stock!
my lambda log is so weird.
when i cruise, data values that were like 13 a/r become max lean a/r.
i'm also still wondeirng why the map is wrong to begin with.
closed loop disabled
no codes
do i have to play with the ignition tables too, or what?

i'm pretty partial to most of the people over there and i'm a mod over there myself, edit "1." in your last post or i'll post it up over there and then you're very right, your posts will get neglected. you seem like you have a pretty good grasp on the program and not just some asshat newb, or else i would have posted that comment over there already. you already have replies to your post that you just posted yesterday, so i don't see what your complaining about.

Re:Uberdata 1.7 StockGSR.bin weird
you'd think somebody would know something, though. i've had ONE response to my post that was moved to Newbie Q/A which is the post that im talking about, and that response was from a moderator. it was totally bs ("the 8-bit to 16-bit change screwed you up") - what was changed? nobody tells me. that post has been there for like 5 days, 1 response, bumped 3 times.
regadless, #1 said most not all
I dont make blanket statements like that.
that aside, can someone at least try to help me?

Re:Uberdata 1.7 StockGSR.bin weird
Since there isn't any mods done to the engine that you'd specifically need the closed loop disabled, uncheck that box and see if the ecu will actually help you out in keeping a steadier AFR in partial throttle and idle.

any way to fix this problem? I dont want to run 10 fuel mixture.
at WOT my a/f is like 11 also, everywhere else is normal it seems
ud 1.7

Re:Uberdata 1.7 StockGSR.bin weird
hi,
thanks for the response.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "fuel modifiers."
Ive modded my map quite a bit to get some generally correct stuff, and in closed loop with my modded map, there are no probs of leanness at cruise, but in open loop, things are really weird. The StockGSR.bin map in open loop (and closed loop to a degree) is a total failure; its ALL rich, and it's supposed to be SOMEWHAT accurate, which it is not.
any suggestions on the tip-in delay for datalogging? i have a feeling that some of my values are being corrupted by the rich tip-in.
i cant find any 1.7 beta or 1.66 versions for download around (googled a lot), ive been wanting to try these. if you could link me, that'd be great.
I dont understand, though, why the 8/16 thing would matter, since the bin files should be the same (right?) and the bin file w/o mods from uberdata gives me the rich A/F.
I was also wondering (although i can test for it myself, to save me time, you could tell me) what the a/f looks like under different loads in closed loop with the stock ECU. Is it always around stoich until you get past 80% throttle?
thanks for the response.
