Walter I have everything you need to do self tuning...when you pick up the ECU you should pick up anything else you need at the same time (because of shipping).

A BASIC, DIY setup for tuning your own ECU would consist of:
- Chipped ECU
- Datalogging cable (serial or USB connection type)
- Chip Burner and Chips
- A Wideband

You can use CROME FREE, and then datalog pretty effectively with FreeLog (find at PGMFI.ORG) to get the hang of tuning. But Crome Pro is worth the $149...

since when do you need to cut that j12 jumper to data log? using free log, you shouldnt have to

i hope that the dataloggind isnt very hard.. :3

There are varying datalogging protocols to use yes...but if you want to use the code that enables the fastest (full duplex) you need to cut J12. I think you can use other protocols in Freelog sure...and they minght work without cutting J12 (aka, what Uberdata uses).

so , you recommed to me that if a put a p28 chipped , i use Uberdata? ( just i'm learning about how to tune with uberdata.. :D)
