Hi all,

A few weeks back I posted about free TurboEdit tuning that I was trying to set-up with a dyno and I believe we now have a great chance to set something up with BOOSTED-HYBRID.

Jeff (B-H), the owner has told me that he will set up a day for us to come down to use his Dyna-pack dyno ALL DAY for the modest charge of $300. I figure to be fair we can get 3-4 (maybe more cars) to meet at the shop and get them tuned throughout the day. The more we get the cheaper it gets but I figure 2 hours per car is more than enough time to get a very good tune down on the dyno. The date right now is TBD in early September. I will see what response is like and set up a firmer date once I have the 1st deposit.

I will also ask that I be compensatated a little for my time and energy for setting this up. I don't ask for any more than $100.

So if we get 4 cars on the dyno it would be $100 per person...5 cars $80.

I think that is more than fair. Anyone interested you need to let me know ASAP with a PM. Also post here if you would.

I will be taking deposits of $75 per person.

Again this is in Easton, PA so mapquest it and make sure this is close enough to you!

ill be there just as long as my car has a motor. its a 2.5 hour drive for me also...do you know if its on a weekend or when cause i have classes durning the day.

I havent nailed down a date yet...it would really have to be a weekend though, preferrably a Sunday cuz I do have a real job & life and am pretty busy during the week.

If people are thinking about using TurboEdit for their cars they can certainly show up and learn as well.

I will make it a little TurboEdit class in the flesh...if you show up to learn I would say that you should bring $10 and all of that kind of money would be donated directly to JParker and PGMFI :-*

Parker I was gonna see if you and Dave might want to fly in as special guest appearances ;)

sundays are great...cause school and work durning the week would not allow me to participate. i also have a life outside of cars. but keep me updated and hopefully other people here will sign up too

Are you willing to put down a deposit if I get a Sat or Sun scheduled? I'll make it easiest on who is willing to step up to the plate and let the rest follow if it fits.

I want to make it as easy as possible for those that REALLY want to take advantage of this.

BTW, Wideband will be provided by the dyno facility...BONUS ;D

yea ill put down a deposit if its a saturday or sunday. let me know what the date is. hopefully its a little later in september rather than earlier. but whatever you get works for me. cant beat a good offer like this

i'd be willing to go on a sunday. i was thinking about just buying someone's already chipped obd0 ecu and then just using that to dyno tune. tell me when you post up the actual date so i can make sure i dont have class.

Sorry, guys...looks like it's going to have to be a Mon, Tues, or Wed for the sweet price he is giving us.

Saturday is obviously one of his most profitable days...

I dont think we will be organized enough for early September...let's start planning more on October.

Any dates anyone wants to request in particular?

yeah i only have about 2 classes a day anyway. just keep me updated on a date. maybe ill just skip class or something. tuning is more important anyways haha.

monday i have a class from 8-9...so i can get there around 11. the other days dont really work for me. hopefully we can work out a monday :)

on mondays my last class ends at 2:30 .. i could probably get there by around 5. maybe i can be the last one on the dyno?

yea maybe that could work. monday i have class till 9
tuesday from 2-3 wednesday from 11-12, thursday from 8-9, and fridays i have class all day so monday or thursday would be the best from me...lets get some date suggestions ??

Monday's would hopefully work...go from like 10-6 or 7 perhaps?

Just so you know, I would have to take an unpaid day off from work to do this. :'(

This sounds like good stuff guys...if i can convince my g/f to let me spend a few extra bucks to get my turbo on, I'd love to head down that way, seeing that easton is about 2 hours from me. Keep us updated though about what's what, and i'm gonna start kissing some ass tonight lol.

hey man i think i might have another guy. are you able to tune uberdata as well as turbo edit? if so i might be able to get another guy. his name is bermenator. we are installing his kit in a few weeks. send him a pm or something seeing if hes interested. well that is if uberdata is on the menu too.

$80 for a good solid 1 1/2 hours of tuning by one of the crators of the program seems like a bitchin idea to me

And hes taking an unpaid day off work.... pockets aint empty lol

I'm definitely not a creator of TurboEdit although I like to think sometimes that I have helped to advance it through its various stages...but I have done absolutely no coding on this whatsoever. Jason Parker & Dave Blundell deserve most of that praise if not all.

I'm taking a day off work because I believe in giving back and genuinely like teaching other people about things I have learned and have enjoyed tinkering with.

so the date is for october 11th? thats a monday. how many guys do we have and how many more do we need. what time should we get there. i have class till about 915 and can get there by 1130 or so
