turboedit: hesitation at 5000 rpms
i have a 90 hatch with a NA zc motor. and im using a 90-91 si pm6 ecu that has been socketed.
i tried both stock pm6 and pm7 bins, i converted them like xenocrons instructions say (the easy way, not the hard way).
first gear has no hesitation at wot. shift to second and rpms drop to 5000 rpms and wont go past it.
if i use part throttle after i shift it gets past the 5000 rpms hesitation and then i can go back to wot.
i tried using both dual maps and single maps option. i also checked all the options to make sure they were set right also.
there is no hesitation with the stock pm7 ecu that came with the motor, the car runs perfect with it.
any ideas?
thanks

OK it's supposed to. Now open a stock PM6 ROM, copy and paste stock PM7 maps into it (don't use any map helper excel sheets or whatever, just open two copies of TE at the same time, and copy and paste), and see how that works.

Heh, screw it. Let him go.. He's helpless anyway. This way, it saves people from having to answer his questions.
There are quite a few tutorials out there on how to make a correct basemap, apparently, he didn't look/read any of those. So.... oh well.

actually i did read the tutoials and followed the instructions and it didnt work for me and your useless advice didn't work either. "make a basemap without doing the steps in the tutorials"...."oh yeah its not supposed to work"...gee thanks.
and im not helpless. i use crome quite often and have never had a problem.
from what i have seen all the obd0 programs suck.
