Default Turbo ZC on Joseph's low busget MAP hack

Hey Joseph I got my turbo finally installed.
It's running on 450's with that low budget map hack that you have on carolinahondas...The car is running strong...My car even hit at least 12 psi yesterday and there was no CEL .Lucky me . I think I hit 1 bar boost though cause it build up so quickly and I saw it at 0.8 and let my foot off a few seconds later.
I got it set at 3.08 volts now...it's running kinda rich I can smell the gas..I'm gonna get the eeprom burner in august, cause I'm going on holiday in about 2 weeks.
The PJ1 fuel map seems to be really rich up ton and at higher rpm's it's set at a full 20ms .I found a problem with the MAP hack..Don't put it int your engine bay...the vibration and maybe sum electro thing's will mess up the HACK..I found myself running super rich blowing black smoke it happened 3 times. Stopped checked the voltage it was at 11.3 sumtin volts damnnn that;s more than twice the normal voltage the MAp gets and now that running on 450's imagine that. I now put it inside the car and it never did it again. but I got me a real cheap management 10 euro's in components and $75 for the injectors..ah life is good.

Hey, this is Joseph posting under Todd's account (at Todd's house).

Glad it's working for you, but be really careful... you aren't getting any more fuel added after ~9 psi with how your stock MAP sensor is. Pull over and read your plugs after one of those runs for me, to be safe + sure.

Anything past 15ms at 7000 rpms = 100% duty cycle; the injectors are on solid. They really aren't designed for more than 85% or so.

If you think you need more fuel... up your fuel pressure by crushing your OEM fuel pressure regulator a bit in a vise. As for tuning your idle, you can use an opamp to monitor engine RPMs or TPS - set it for a different cut (less than 3v going into the MAP to lean things further) if you don't have your foot on the gas pedal like when you're at idle.

Sweet.

FTB and ZC's seem to go well together... my boy Atlee is still eating SN95 Cobras, a F-150 Lightning, two LT1 Z28 and an LS1 ram air TA. He's ---- a transmission and an ACT pressure plate (!) so far, but the engine runs great.

Get things together so you can tune on it. Let me know...

it would actually be way richer than yours. b18a i/h/e and gforce maps. seems to be just right, if anything rich for idle and a tad leaner than it should be up high.

i dont think emissions should be a problem. what you can do is run about a quarter tank of gas or less and a bottle or two of HEET fuel line antifreeze. i did a writeup at www.g2ic.com/forums in the articles/teg tips forum.
